Bahrain eager to enhance ties with Ghana for joint development

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, recently met with the Senior Presidential Advisor and Special Envoy for International Finance and Private Sector Investments of the Republic of Ghana, Hon. Kenneth Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta. During the meeting, the importance of further developing Bahrain-Ghana relations was highlighted, with a focus on creating mutually beneficial development and investment opportunities in line with Bahrain’s comprehensive development goals led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

HRH Prince Salman emphasized the significance of strengthening bilateral cooperation between Bahrain and Ghana, particularly in the financial and investment sectors, to advance joint coordination that benefits both countries and their people. Regional and global developments and issues of common interest were also discussed during the meeting, underscoring the commitment of both nations to enhancing their partnership.

Hon. Ofori-Atta expressed his appreciation for His Royal Highness’s dedication to enhancing Bahrain-Ghana ties, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. The meeting was attended by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, demonstrating the importance both countries place on strengthening their relationship.

The meeting between HRH Prince Salman and Hon. Ofori-Atta reaffirms the commitment of Bahrain and Ghana to deepening their partnership and exploring new opportunities for cooperation in various sectors. By fostering closer ties and collaboration, both nations aim to create sustainable development and investment opportunities that benefit their economies and people.

The discussions between Bahrain and Ghana during the meeting focused on the potential for further cooperation in key sectors such as finance and investment, with a view towards maximizing mutual benefits and advancing shared goals.
