Qatar Foundation, a renowned educational institution in Doha, Qatar, has been making waves in the US and Canada with its graduates excelling in various fields. To strengthen the bond among its alumni and provide support for their professional growth, a new network called the Qatar Foundation Alumni Chapter for the US and Canada has been launched. The initiative, sponsored by the Qatar Cultural Attaché Office at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Washington D.C., aims to connect over 100 QF graduates who are currently pursuing their careers and studies in North America.

The network will serve as a platform for QF alumni scattered across the US and Canada to come together, share experiences, and provide mutual assistance in achieving their goals. With the establishment of the Qatar Foundation Alumni Chapter, North America becomes the first region to have such a network due to the high number of QF graduates residing there. This move reflects the widespread impact and influence of Qatar Foundation’s educational ecosystem, which has produced graduates excelling in diverse fields like healthcare, education, engineering, technology, commerce, and the arts.

Qatar Foundation’s commitment to delivering quality and relevant education to students from around the world has been evident over the past 25 years. Francisco Marmolejo, President of Higher Education and Education Advisor at Qatar Foundation, highlighted the organization’s global alumni network, which spans across 120 countries. Many of these graduates are now based in the US and Canada, where they are actively pursuing their careers and making significant contributions to their communities. The vibrant QF alumni community in these countries is a testament to Qatar Foundation’s dedication to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are capable of leading and shaping societies.

The Qatar Foundation Alumni Chapter launch event in New York served as a gathering for US- and Canada-based QF graduates to connect, network, and celebrate their achievements. The initiative aims to support alumni in their professional endeavors, providing them with the tools and resources to further their careers and make a positive impact on society. By fostering a sense of community and solidarity among QF alumni in North America, the network seeks to create a support system that enables graduates to thrive and succeed in their respective fields.

Through the Qatar Foundation Alumni Chapter for the US and Canada, graduates of QF-based universities have an opportunity to stay connected with their alma mater, fellow alumni, and Qatar as a whole. The network will offer a range of resources, including mentorship programs, networking events, and professional development opportunities, to help alumni enhance their skills, expand their networks, and advance their careers. By leveraging the collective expertise and experience of QF alumni in North America, the network aims to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among its members.

As QF alumni continue to make their mark in the US and Canada, the Qatar Foundation Alumni Chapter serves as a platform for them to stay connected, support each other, and contribute to the growth and development of their communities. By harnessing the talents and expertise of its graduates, Qatar Foundation is not only shaping the next generation of leaders but also creating a global community of change-makers who are committed to making a positive impact on the world. Through the Qatar Foundation Alumni Chapter, QF alumni in the US and Canada have a unique opportunity to build connections, share experiences, and collaborate on projects that will further their personal and professional growth.
