The LIV Golf league has been making headlines recently, particularly after Bryson DeChambeau’s impressive performance at the USPGA Championship. The rivalry between LIV Golf and traditional golf seems to be intensifying, leading to speculation on who is fueling the fire – golfers themselves, tour administrators, the media, or the fans. The Majors have become the main stage for golfers to showcase their skills and compete against each other. Let’s take a look at how all 16 of the LIV golfers fared at the recent USPGA Championship.

Out of the 16 LIV golfers who participated, 11 made the cut, with three players finishing in the top 30. Bryson DeChambeau was the standout LIV player, finishing just one shot behind the champion, Xander Schauffele. DeChambeau’s impressive performance, including a last round score of 64, propelled him to 35th in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR). The next event on the LIV Golf calendar is set to take place at the Golf Club of Houston in the US from June 7-9. Let’s take a closer look at how the other LIV golfers fared at the USPGA Championship.

Dean Burmester had a solid performance, tying for 12th place with a score of 12 under par. Brooks Koepka finished tied for 26th with a score of 9 under par, while Joaquin Niemann tied for 39th with a score of 7 under par. Lucas Herbert, Dustin Johnson, and Patrick Reed all finished tied for 43rd with scores of 6 under par. Talor Gooch tied for 60th with a score of 4 under par, while Tyrrell Hatton and Cameron Smith tied for 63rd with scores of 3 under par. Martin Kaymer finished tied for 73rd with a level par score.

Unfortunately, there were a few golfers who missed the cut at the USPGA Championship. The cut fell at 1 under par, resulting in Jon Rahm, Adrian Meronk, David Puig, Phil Mickelson, and Andy Ogletree not advancing to the weekend rounds. Despite the mixed results, the LIV Golf league continues to generate excitement and interest among fans and players alike. As the league grows and evolves, it will be interesting to see how it impacts the traditional landscape of golf and the future of the sport as a whole.

In conclusion, the LIV Golf league is making a splash in the golf world, with standout performances and exciting events like the recent USPGA Championship. While the rivalry between LIV Golf and traditional golf persists, it is clear that the league is here to stay. With top players like Bryson DeChambeau leading the charge, the future looks bright for LIV Golf and the players involved. As the league continues to grow and attract attention, it will be fascinating to see how it shapes the future of the sport and the dynamics between players, fans, and the golfing community as a whole.
