Amir has arrived in Bahrain for the Arab Summit.

HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of Qatar, recently arrived in Bahrain to lead the Qatar delegation at the Arab League Council’s 33rd regular session at the summit level. This important meeting, which took place on Thursday, was significant for addressing key issues affecting the Arab world. Upon his arrival at Sakhir Air Base, HH the Amir was warmly welcomed by Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain, HE Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, and Secretary-General of the Arab League, HE Ahmed Aboul-Gheit, were also present to greet the delegation.

Accompanying HH the Amir during this important meeting was Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, as well as other members of the official delegation. The presence of such high-ranking officials from Qatar indicated the importance of the conference and the discussions that would take place. The summit level meeting of the Arab League Council aimed to address key regional issues and concerns, as well as to strengthen cooperation and unity among member states.
