CBSE results: Get to know the top performers in Oman

The educational landscape in Muscat, Oman, recently witnessed a remarkable achievement as students from various Indian schools in the country secured top positions in the 2024 CBSE Class 10th and 12th examinations. Riti Mithesh Patel from Indian School Muscat (ISM) and Akshaya Alagappan from Indian School Al Maabela (ISAM) jointly secured the top position in the Class 10 exams with an outstanding score of 98.8 percent. Meanwhile, Yadu Krishna Balakrishnan from Indian School Darsait (ISD) emerged as the topper in the Class 12th science stream with an impressive 99 percent. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced these results on Monday, highlighting the academic excellence of students in Oman.

According to the Indian School Board in Oman, Bhargavi Vaidya from ISAM, Vishaka Rahul Shinde, and Ann Sinu Kurian from ISM attained the joint second position with an impressive score of 98.6 percent in the Class 10 exams. Ananditha Sashidar from ISM secured the third position with a score of 98.4 percent, further solidifying ISM’s academic dominance in Oman. In the Class 12th science stream, Sadiya Khatoon from Indian School Salalah and Aman Saji from Indian School Sohar shared the overall second position with an impressive score of 98 percent each. Nityant Karthik Rao from ISM and Ojas Pandey from Indian School Wadi Kabir (ISWK) both secured the joint third position with a commendable score of 97.8 percent.

Gunjan Karwani from ISWK emerged as the topper in the commerce stream in Class 12th in Oman, achieving an impressive score of 98.6 percent. Following closely, Jamiehitesh Ramaiya from Indian School Sohar secured the second position with an impressive score of 97.4 percent, while Devika Balakrishnan from Indian School Al Ghubra clinched the third position with a notable score of 96.6 percent. In the Class 12th humanities stream, Kiara Denise Frank from Indian School Al Ghubra (ISG) secured the top position with a brilliant score of 98.6 percent. Bhumika Gulani and Hansi Thakur from ISM jointly secured the second position with a remarkable score of 98 percent, while Rithika Chandramohan from ISG secured the third position with an admirable score of 97.8 percent.

This year, thousands of students from 21 Indian schools in Oman appeared for the Class 10 and 12 examinations, marking another milestone in Oman’s educational journey. A total of approximately 39 lakh students took part in the CBSE Class 10th and 12th exams. The Class 10 exams were conducted from February 15 to March 13, while the Class 12 exams commenced on February 15 and concluded on April 2. The outstanding performance of students from Indian schools in Oman reflects the dedication and hard work put in by both students and teachers, further solidifying the reputation of these institutions as centers of academic excellence in the region.
