Sheikh Rashed bin Dalmook bin Juma Al Maktoum, the Chairman of the Dubai Equestrian Club (DEC), recently expressed his gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum for reappointing him to this prestigious position. This decision was made through the royal Decision No. 25 of 2024, where Sheikh Mohammed formed the new Board of Directors of DEC, chaired by Sheikh Rashed. Khalifa Thani bin Abood Al Falasi was appointed as the CEO of the Club, with Dr. Mohammed Essa Al Adhab serving as a member of the Board.

Sheikh Rashed took the opportunity to commend Sheikh Mohammed for his visionary leadership and support, which has been instrumental in advancing DEC’s global standing, especially in endurance racing. The club has seen significant progress under Sheikh Mohammed’s guidance, inspiring riders and teams to excel in the equestrian world. DEC now boasts talented national riders and trainers dedicated to upholding Dubai’s leading position in the sport.

Dr. Mohammed Essa Al Adhab, the General Manager of DEC, emphasized the Club’s exceptional performances in recent seasons and emphasized the importance of maintaining a path of excellence to ensure Dubai’s continued prominence in global equestrian sports. Adhab stated that DEC is committed to playing an active role in various equestrian disciplines, including endurance, dressage, and show jumping, both locally and internationally. The Club aims to provide exposure to refine the skills of talented individuals and utilize the top-notch facilities available to them.

Under Sheikh Mohammed’s leadership, DEC will focus on offering enhanced training opportunities to its members and preparing them for international events during the summer season as part of their preparations for the upcoming winter season. The Club is dedicated to ensuring effective participation in various competitions to showcase the talent and skills of its members and maintain a competitive edge on a global scale. By continuously striving for excellence and leveraging the support and guidance of Sheikh Mohammed, DEC aims to solidify its position as a premier equestrian club in the region.

Sheikh Rashed’s appointment as Chairman of the Dubai Equestrian Club signifies a continuation of his dedicated service to the Club and his commitment to advancing its mission and vision under Sheikh Mohammed’s leadership. The DEC Board, under Sheikh Rashed’s guidance, will work towards implementing innovative strategies to further enhance the Club’s reputation and competitive edge in the equestrian world. With a focus on excellence, talent development, and active participation in global events, DEC is poised to maintain its leading status in the sport.

In conclusion, the reappointment of Sheikh Rashed bin Dalmook bin Juma Al Maktoum as Chairman of the Dubai Equestrian Club, along with the formation of the new Board of Directors, signals a renewed commitment to excellence and advancement in the equestrian world.
