Doha, Qatar: Dr. Ghanem Mohammed Al Sulaiti, an alumnus of Qatar Foundation, shares his message for fellow alumni as they reconnect at the Annual Alumni Forum, emphasizing that the first job after graduation is just the beginning of a fulfilling career journey. Dr. Al Sulaiti highlights the importance of gradual career advancement, patience, and determination in achieving professional and personal goals. He encourages learning from experiences, refining skills, and facing challenges head-on to progress in one’s career.

As a former Director of the Government Innovation Department and a specialist in information systems and Artificial Intelligence, Dr. Al Sulaiti understands the challenges that graduates may face in the job market. He acknowledges the importance of initiatives like the Alumni Entrepreneurship Fund, which supports creative entrepreneurship among QF graduates, enriching Qatar’s community and economy. Dr. Al Sulaiti believes in the unique academic and life experience offered at Education City, where students benefit from a low professor-student ratio, innovative learning methodologies, and the development of soft skills essential for professional success.

Dr. Al-Sulaiti also emphasizes the importance of cultural exchange and interdisciplinary learning at QF’s universities, which prepare students for a globalized world. He praises QF’s efforts in sustainability, promoting energy efficiency, green initiatives, and policy research in sustainability. The QF Alumni Program has successfully connected graduates with job opportunities in various sectors, including engineering, media, education, technology, and government services. Alumni are invited to attend the upcoming Annual Alumni Forum to network and learn about new opportunities.

Dr. Al Sulaiti also highlights the friendly competition and loyalty to one’s university and Qatar Foundation that students experience through academic, cultural, and sporting competitions at Education City. He believes that these activities contribute to a well-rounded education and personal growth. Students at QF benefit from the proximity of universities, cross-registration opportunities, and a diverse ecosystem that fosters creativity and innovation. Dr. Al Sulaiti urges graduates to embrace challenges, embrace lifelong learning, and stay connected to their alma mater to support their continuous professional development.

In conclusion, Dr. Ghanem Mohammed Al Sulaiti’s message to Qatar Foundation alumni is one of resilience, determination, and continuous growth. He believes that the skills and experiences gained at QF, combined with a supportive alumni network and ongoing initiatives, can empower graduates to achieve their career aspirations and contribute positively to Qatar’s society and economy. Alumni are encouraged to seize opportunities, learn from setbacks, and stay connected to their educational roots for continued success and fulfillment in their professional journeys.
