Al Duhail and Al Arabi advance to the quarterfinals of the Amir Cup

Al Duhail’s Philippe Coutinho led his team to a 3-1 comeback victory against Al Shamal in the Round of 16, setting up a clash with defending champions Al Arabi in the Amir Cup quarter-finals. Al Arabi also secured a comeback win, defeating Second Division side Al Sailiya 2-1. Both teams are aiming for success in the prestigious tournament to salvage their seasons.
