The Palestinian presidency has issued a warning regarding the Israeli occupation authorities’ plans to invade Rafah, which could lead to genocide. The US administration is being held responsible for supporting these alarming Israeli policies. Spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh stated that the US administration’s financial and military aid to the Israeli government encourages Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to continue his aggressive actions against the Palestinian people. The recent violence in Tulkarm Governorate is cited as an example of this aggression.

The Palestinian presidency is gravely concerned that the invasion of Rafah could result in a genocidal massacre affecting 1.5 million Palestinian citizens. Abu Rudeineh emphasized that the US administration must take immediate action to prevent these atrocities and hold the Israeli occupation authorities accountable for their violations of international law. Without a just solution to the Palestinian cause and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, peace and security in the region will remain elusive.

The spokesperson for the Palestinian Presidency highlighted that the US administration’s support for the Israeli government undermines international legitimacy resolutions and perpetuates aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. The Palestinian presidency has been warning about the ongoing attempts at displacement by the Israeli occupation authorities. Abu Rudeineh called on the US administration to intervene to prevent genocide and displacement before it is too late.

Abu Rudeineh stressed the importance of achieving a just solution to the Palestinian cause and establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. He emphasized that peace and security in the region are contingent on addressing the root causes of the conflict and ending the occupation. The Palestinian presidency is advocating for the protection of Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem and the recognition of Palestinian rights to self-determination and sovereignty.

The Palestinian Presidency’s warning about the potential genocide in Rafah underscores the urgent need for international intervention to prevent further violence and atrocities against the Palestinian people. The US administration’s support for the Israeli government’s aggressive policies is exacerbating the situation and fueling tensions in the region. The call for a just solution to the Palestinian cause and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital remains a crucial step towards achieving lasting peace and stability in the Middle East.

In conclusion, the Palestinian presidency’s concerns about the potential genocide in Rafah highlight the urgent need for international action to prevent further violence and human rights abuses. The US administration’s support for the Israeli government’s aggressive policies is exacerbating the situation and hindering efforts to achieve peace and security in the region. It is imperative that the international community holds the Israeli occupation authorities accountable for their violations of international law and works towards a just solution to the Palestinian cause that includes the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
