Weather in the UAE: Cloudy in Some Areas; Temperatures Expected to Reach 49ºC

The country recorded its hottest day of the year on Sunday, June 16, with temperatures reaching 49.4°C, the highest recorded in Sweihan, Al Ain. Despite the scorching temperatures, some areas experienced rains, and more rain is expected as summer weather sets in. Cloudy conditions are forecasted for the eastern and southern regions, with a chance of light rain due to convective clouds. Light to moderate winds will blow throughout the country, causing dust during daytime, and seas will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea.
