Haatem, a consistent colt trained by Richard Hannon, emerged victorious in the Gr.3 Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot. The three-year-old, carrying the colors of new owner Wathnan Racing, had previously finished as runner-up in the Gr.1 Tattersalls Irish 2,000 Guineas. With jockey James Doyle in the saddle, Haatem tracked closely behind Native American before making a strong push in the final stretch to win by a short head.

The connections of Haatem were overjoyed with their win, with the winning trainer expressing his pride in the horse’s performance. Winning with a three-pound penalty for his earlier victory in the Gr.3 bet365 Craven Stakes, Haatem showcased his talent and determination on the track. This win marked Wathnan Racing’s fourth victory at Royal Ascot, further solidifying their presence in the racing world.

Bred by Hyde Park Stud, Haatem is the offspring of Hard Walnut (Cape Cross) and has exhibited his potential for success in his recent races. The talented colt has a promising future, with hopes for continued victories and achievements on the racetrack. As a half-sister to Listed placed Born To Be Alive and Gr.3 placed Father Frost, Haatem comes from a lineage of strong performers, indicating his potential for further success in the future.

Haatem’s victory at Royal Ascot was a testament to his skill and talent as a racehorse, with his impressive performance capturing the attention of spectators and fans alike. With a confident ride from jockey James Doyle, Haatem demonstrated his ability to overcome challenges and emerge victorious in a competitive field. The celebration of his win reflected the excitement and enthusiasm surrounding his future prospects in the racing world.

As Haatem continues to impress with his performances on the track, his connections and fans eagerly anticipate his next races and achievements. With a strong support system behind him, including his trainer Richard Hannon and owner Wathnan Racing, Haatem is poised for continued success in future competitions. His recent win at Royal Ascot served as a stepping stone towards greater accomplishments, showcasing his potential as a rising star in the world of horse racing.
