Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was greeted by a multitude of fans at Mumbai airport as he headed to Abu Dhabi to host this year’s Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA). Accompanied by his bodyguard and manager, SRK graciously acknowledged his fans amidst the chaos as he made his way to the terminal. The anticipation for IIFA 2024 has been growing, especially after a lighthearted press conference where Shah Rukh and Karan Johar engaged in playful banter. Fans are eagerly awaiting the three-day gala event, which will kick off with IIFA Utsavam, dedicated to southern film industries, and will feature appearances by Megastar Chiranjeevi, SRK, Vicky Kaushal, and Karan Johar.

The IIFA event in Abu Dhabi is scheduled to take place from September 27 to 29, with a lineup of exciting performances and appearances planned. On the first day, IIFA Utsavam will honor southern film industries including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, with Megastar Chiranjeevi being recognized. The following day will see stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Karan Johar take the stage to entertain the audience at the IIFA Awards night. Veteran actress Rekha will also make a return to the IIFA stage after a long absence, promising to deliver a memorable performance for the audience.

Rekha’s last IIFA performance in 2018 captivated the audience with her charm and grace. From iconic songs like “Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya” to “Salam-E-Ishq Meri Jaan,” she left everyone mesmerized with her performance. Joining her on stage were stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan, and Karan Johar. The finale of IIFA 2024 will culminate on September 29 with the exclusive IIFA Rocks event, featuring live performances from artists such as Honey Singh, Shilpa Rao, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy.

The buzz surrounding the IIFA Awards this year has been brewing, with fans eagerly anticipating the star-studded performances and memorable moments that await. Shah Rukh Khan’s presence at the event has only added to the excitement, as he gears up to host the prestigious awards show in Abu Dhabi. With a lineup of top-notch talent and entertainment planned, IIFA 2024 promises to be a spectacular celebration of Indian cinema and culture. Stay tuned for more updates and highlights from the event as it unfolds in the UAE Capital.
