Additionally, the UAE, in partnership with WEF, introduced the Global Strategic Intelligence Programme. Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Managing Director and Group CEO of Mubadala Investment Company, was appointed Chair of the WEF’s International Business Council (IBC) for two years, becoming the first person from the Middle East to hold the position.
