The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) issued a warning to motorists about poor visibility due to fog formation on Friday morning, May 31. The weather department sent out a red alert, indicating a deterioration in horizontal visibility, which may drop further until 8:30 in the morning. Dubai Police also cautioned drivers about poor visibility on both internal and external roads in the emirate. Authorities advised motorists to reduce speed and follow traffic safety guidelines.

The NCM has issued a red alert for heavy fog on Wednesday and Thursday, with foggy conditions expected to continue until today. Residents are urged to stay up to date with the latest news by following KT on WhatsApp Channels. The UAE can anticipate generally fair weather, with a rise in temperature. It will be humid by Friday night and Saturday morning, with a chance of fog or mist formation in some coastal areas.

Temperatures are expected to reach up to 44ºC in Abu Dhabi and 42ºC in Dubai, while light to moderate winds will blow across the country, causing slight seas in the Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea. Motorists are advised to drive cautiously and adhere to road safety regulations to ensure a safe commute during foggy conditions. It is important to stay informed and follow updates from authorities to stay safe and prepared for any weather-related challenges.

As foggy conditions persist, it is crucial for drivers to exercise patience and caution when navigating through low visibility areas. By reducing speed and maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles, motorists can help prevent accidents and ensure a smooth commute. Following traffic guidelines and staying alert while driving in foggy conditions can help prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all road users. Additionally, staying updated on weather alerts and listening to authorities’ recommendations can help individuals prepare for any potential hazards caused by poor visibility.

In conclusion, as the UAE experiences foggy conditions, motorists must prioritize safety and follow guidelines provided by authorities. By reducing speed, staying alert, and following traffic regulations, drivers can navigate through foggy areas without compromising safety. It is essential to stay informed about weather updates and follow advice from the National Centre of Meteorology to prepare for any challenges posed by poor visibility. By taking precautionary measures and staying cautious, drivers can ensure a safe and secure journey during foggy weather conditions.
