An earthquake of 3.1 magnitude struck near Ras Al Khaimah followed by another quake of 2.8 magnitude, both occurring at a depth of 10km. While the earthquakes did not have any significant effects in the UAE, residents were reminded to stay prepared for natural disasters and follow safety protocols in case of emergencies.
