The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued an orange alert for fresh winds causing dust to blow and reducing horizontal visibility to less than 2000 meters. The alert was issued for 10am to 6pm on July 28, impacting internal areas. Abu Dhabi Police have urged drivers to avoid distractions and be cautious amid low visibility caused by high winds and dust. Additionally, a yellow alert was issued earlier for winds up to 40 kmph, blowing in a northwesterly direction, with rough sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf.

The yellow alert is in effect from 8am on July 28 to 8am on July 29. Weather forecasts suggest fair to partly cloudy conditions with dust, a drop in temperatures, and decreased visibility due to light to moderate winds. Temperatures are expected to range from 24℃ in the mountains to 47℃ in internal areas. The sea will be rough to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate in the Oman Sea.

It is important to stay updated with the latest news and alerts regarding weather conditions. The NCM’s warning about reduced visibility and high winds highlights the need for caution, especially for motorists. Drivers are reminded not to take photos or use their phones while on the road during such weather conditions. The combination of strong winds and blowing dust can create hazardous driving conditions, requiring heightened awareness and attention from drivers.

The orange and yellow alerts serve as a reminder to the public to be prepared for adverse weather conditions. It is crucial to follow safety guidelines and avoid unnecessary risks during such weather events. With the potential for reduced visibility and rough seas, residents are advised to stay indoors if possible and avoid any outdoor activities that could be dangerous in these conditions. By staying informed and taking necessary precautions, individuals can minimize any potential risks associated with the inclement weather.

The NCM’s proactive issuance of alerts demonstrates the importance of monitoring weather patterns and being prepared for any potential disruptions. By heeding the warnings and following safety recommendations, individuals can safeguard themselves and their property against the dangers posed by severe weather conditions. It is essential to take these alerts seriously and take appropriate actions to ensure personal safety and well-being during adverse weather events. Additionally, staying connected with reliable news sources can help individuals stay informed and prepared for any changes in weather conditions.

In conclusion, the orange and yellow alerts issued by the NCM highlight the potential hazards posed by high winds, blowing dust, and reduced visibility in certain areas. Residents are advised to exercise caution, follow safety guidelines, and stay informed about weather updates to ensure their safety during adverse weather conditions. By taking proactive measures and being prepared, individuals can mitigate risks and protect themselves from the impact of severe weather events. Stay safe, stay informed, and prioritize safety during inclement weather.
