The developer of the viral ‘rain street’ in Sharjah has vowed to make the artificial rains cooler by using special devices. Obaid Al Tunaiji and his team discovered that the water used for the artificial rains was warm, so they plan to lower the water temperatures to enhance the experience for visitors. The water used in the artificial rain shows is clean and sterilized, ensuring a safe environment for everyone to enjoy.

The Zawaya Walk in Sharjah has gained popularity on social media due to its free artificial rain shows. These shows feature thunder-like sound effects and last for approximately five minutes, taking place every hour from 9am to 12pm and 5pm to 11pm. The shopping destination offers a unique experience with its retail outlets, shops, restaurants, and cafes, along with an outdoor walkway, artificial lake, and crossing bridge connecting the two ends of the building.

The rain shows were introduced as a way to attract visitors during the summer months when the turnout was low. Over 300 trees were planted at the site to create a cooler atmosphere, along with the consideration of using misting fans for a cooling effect. However, the developers opted for artificial rains to cool the atmosphere without making it uncomfortably humid for visitors. The team of engineers executed the plan themselves to suit the requirements of the place.

As summer temperatures peak in the UAE, reaching highs of 50ºC, most establishments are shifting their activities indoors. However, outdoor destinations like Zawaya Walk are providing visitors with the opportunity to enjoy the sun without feeling too hot. The introduction of artificial rains has enhanced the experience for visitors, making it a popular hangout spot for people of all ages.

In conclusion, the developer of Sharjah’s ‘rain street’ is committed to enhancing the artificial rain shows by making them cooler for visitors to enjoy. The unique attraction has gained popularity on social media and offers a refreshing experience for guests with its thunder-like sound effects and hourly downpours. The site features a variety of amenities, including retail outlets, shops, restaurants, and cafes, making it a popular hangout spot in Sharjah. Visitors can now enjoy the outdoors even during the summer months, thanks to the artificial rain shows that provide relief from the scorching temperatures.
