Abdul Rahman Iyad, a 12-year-old Palestinian based in Dubai, is gaining popularity on Instagram for his culinary skills and unique recipes. He developed his passion for cooking at a young age by watching his mother in the kitchen. Abdul Rahman advocates for healthy eating and encourages people to cook at home instead of opting for junk food. He believes in making small changes in recipes to include nutritious ingredients like vegetables.

Abdul Rahman shares his recipes on social media platforms and has over 150,000 followers. His crispy chickpeas snack video went viral with over 10 million views. Recently, he partnered with the Department of Economy and Tourism for the ‘sizzling summer eats’ campaign during Dubai Summer Surprises. His journey into the culinary world started with simple recipes like a lazy cake and easy sandwiches.

Despite his initial shyness in front of the camera, Abdul Rahman’s mother encouraged him to showcase his cooking skills. Now, he enjoys experimenting with new recipes and putting his own twist on traditional Palestinian dishes. His mother, a content producer, recognized his potential and supported him in overcoming his shyness to make an impact with his cooking videos. Abdul Rahman’s family, including his elder brother and younger sister, often taste-test his creations and fall victim to his pranks.

With dreams of starting his own restaurant business, Abdul Rahman has already ventured into small-scale catering by selling Twisters in school and delivering homemade dishes to neighboring buildings. He aspires to establish a successful restaurant one day. Abdul Rahman’s love for cooking, creativity in recipe development, and playful nature have earned him a significant following on social media and a promising future in the culinary industry.
