Apple recently held its highly anticipated Glowtime 2024 event at Cupertino Park, California, where they unveiled a range of new products, including the iPhone 16 lineup. The event also showcased updates to other major product lines such as the Apple Watch Series 10, Apple Watch Ultra 2, AirPods 4, AirPods Max, and AirPods Pro 2.

Starting with the iPhone 16 lineup, Apple introduced the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, both powered by the new A18 chip for improved performance and efficiency. The iPhone 16 starts at Dh3,399, while the iPhone 16 Plus is priced at Dh3,799 for its base model. These models come with a new camera control button and an Action button for quick access to various functions.

One of the standout features of the iPhone 16 is the integration of Apple Intelligence, a groundbreaking AI system that enhances the camera experience. Users will be able to take macro and spatial photos effortlessly with the Visual Intelligence feature. The phone boasts a 48MP main camera with a 26mm focal length and a 48MP ultra-wide lens with autofocus. It also supports 4K60 video in Dolby Vision and offers advanced video features like reduced wind noise.

In addition to the standard models, Apple also announced the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, featuring larger displays of 6.3 inches and 6.9 inches, respectively. The iPhone 16 Pro comes with the thinnest bezels ever seen on an Apple product and a new colour option, Desert Titanium, replacing the blue colour. Powered by the A18 Pro chip, the Pro model offers enhanced performance and efficiency.

The iPhone 16 Pro now includes a 5x Telephoto camera, previously exclusive to the Pro Max model, along with a 48MP main camera, a new 48MP ultra-wide camera, and a camera control button. For video enthusiasts, the iPhone 16 Pro supports 4K video recording at 120fps. The Pro model starts at Dh4,299, while the Pro Max is priced at Dh5,099 for its base model in the UAE.

For those interested in purchasing the new iPhone models, pre-orders will begin this Friday, with official availability on Apple’s UAE website starting on September 20. With its range of new features and enhancements, the iPhone 16 lineup is set to make a significant impact in the smartphone market.
