The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) in the UAE recently organized a panel discussion with people of determination as part of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme. Among the attendees was Amal Ahmed, a person of determination who shared her delight at the simplified procedures and accessible services. She expressed her appreciation for the government’s commitment to inclusivity and understanding the challenges within the community. This initiative aims to streamline government processes and eliminate redundant procedures to enhance service efficiency and quality.

The panel discussion provided a platform for people of determination to express their satisfaction and gratitude for the initiative. Eesa AlAli from the Dubai Club for People of Determination shared his enthusiasm about how the programme would ease their daily lives by simplifying service procedures and improving quality of life. The feedback gathered during the discussion will be crucial in refining and improving the programme’s implementation, ensuring that the needs of all community members are effectively met.

Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, emphasized the importance of direct communication with various segments of society to develop services based on customers’ preferences and needs. They are working to re-engineer services and employ digital technologies to provide proactive solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. Abdullah Ahli highlighted the importance of involving people of determination in implementing the Zero Bureaucracy Programme to enhance the quality of the Ministry’s services through direct engagement.

The initiative aims to empower people of determination and make them feel valued members of the community. It reinforces the government’s dedication to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive regardless of their physical abilities. By organizing customer councils and promoting participatory design, the Ministry seeks to provide customized services that meet the specific needs of all customers. The dialogue session with people of determination is just one of the many initiatives launched by MOHAP to improve government services and enhance customer satisfaction in the health sector.
