The UAE leaders, including President Sheikh Mohamed, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, shared messages of peace and stability on the occasion of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBHU) birthday. They all conveyed their wishes for the well-being and happiness of the community, while also emphasizing the importance of following the teachings and guidance of the Prophet. The UAE has declared a paid holiday for both the private and public sector on the Prophet’s birthday, with various entities announcing closures on that day. The holiday falls on 12 Rabi’ Al-Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar, and is celebrated joyously by the nation and its leaders.

President Sheikh Mohamed prayed for mercy and blessings upon humanity on the Prophet’s birthday, emphasizing the importance of peace and stability in the world. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Ruler of Dubai, also congratulated the community and wished for good health and happiness through prayer and following the Prophet’s guidance. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, highlighted the importance of drawing inspiration from the Prophet’s morals and values, while invoking his eternal message. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan recalled the Prophet’s eternal message and prayed for goodness, security, and peace for the Islamic nation and the world.

The Prophet’s birthday is a significant occasion in most Islamic countries, including the Gulf countries, and is observed with reverence and celebrations. The UAE has declared a paid holiday for both the public and private sector on the Prophet’s birthday, with announcements of closures by various entities. Public parking will be free on the holiday in Sharjah, and visa amnesty services will not be available on that day in Dubai. Residents can look forward to a long holiday in December for National Day, with December 2 and 3 falling on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, creating a four-day holiday when combined with the weekend.

In conclusion, the Prophet’s birthday is a time of joy and reflection for the UAE leaders and the nation as a whole. The messages of peace, stability, and blessings shared by the leaders reflect the significance of the occasion and the importance of following the Prophet’s teachings. The paid holiday declared by the UAE government allows residents to celebrate and reflect on the Prophet’s birthday, while closures of various services and entities ensure a day of rest and observance. The upcoming holiday in December for National Day further provides residents with an extended break to commemorate and celebrate the unity and pride of the nation.
