Rapid weather changes are expected in the UAE as the transition period continues. After experiencing heavy rainfall and thunderstorms on Monday, the intensity is expected to decrease over the next few days. Dr. Ahmed Habib, a climate expert from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), stated that the low pressure system responsible for the recent weather will gradually shift southward, resulting in lower moisture levels and less intensity in the coming days.

Al Ain and Fujairah are expected to see rain during this period, with the southern regions, Al Ain, and parts of Al Dhafra likely to be affected. Additionally, there are chances of rain in the eastern mountainous regions near Fujairah. The transition period is known for rapid and significant weather changes, with sudden shifts from stable to unstable conditions. The UAE will experience the effects of a northwesterly wind starting on Tuesday, leading to concentrated clouds in the southern parts of the country.

As the weather transitions from autumn to winter, temperatures are fluctuating between warm and cold due to the uneven heating of the Earth’s surface. September marks the end of summer in the UAE, with temperatures decreasing, especially at night. Changes in air masses can significantly impact temperatures, with colder days expected as a result of a change in air mass due to northwesterly winds on Friday. The expert emphasized that the transition period is characterized by rapid weather changes during autumn and spring, with the potential for sudden cloud cover and rain after dry days.

In conclusion, residents of the UAE should remain prepared for varying weather conditions in the coming days as the transition period continues. It is crucial to stay updated on the latest weather forecasts and be aware of potential changes in moisture levels and rainfall intensity. As the weather gradually shifts from autumn to winter, fluctuations in temperatures are expected, especially with the influence of different air masses. The transitions between stable and unstable conditions during this period highlight the unpredictability of weather patterns in the UAE. Stay informed and prepared for any changes in the weather to ensure safety and well-being.
