Today, on September 13, loyal iPhone users are eagerly waiting to pre-book the latest iPhone 16, an event that many enthusiasts have been preparing for by taking compensatory leave from work or leaving early to secure the highly anticipated device. The race to pre-book Apple’s newest phone is expected to be intense, with users ready to click the moment bookings open at 4pm in hopes of buying the device before it sells out. Some users are purchasing the phone for personal use, while others are looking to profit from the high demand by reselling the phones at a higher price.

Mohammed Shuaib, an electronic engineer from Al Nahda, is one of the individuals who have taken the day off to ensure they don’t miss out on pre-booking the new iPhone. Shuaib, who currently owns an iPhone 13 Pro Max, decided to wait for the iPhone 16 launch instead of upgrading two months ago. Like many tech enthusiasts, Shuaib understands the importance of securing the phone on launch day, as demand is expected to skyrocket once bookings open.

Ateeq Ahmed, a sales executive at an FMCG firm, is also taking a flexible approach to pre-booking the new iPhone. He plans to log off early from work to be ready to pre-book multiple phones, with the intention of reselling them at a premium to contribute to his wife’s phone purchase. For many in the UAE, the iPhone launch presents not only the opportunity to own the newest gadget but also a lucrative business opportunity.

For Azeez Karimov, an Uzbek expat, pre-booking the new iPhone is a means to make some extra money by leveraging the anticipation and selling the phones at a markup price. Karimov has created multiple accounts to reserve as many phones as possible, with the goal of selling them at a significant profit if he manages to get the delivery on the first day. Like many other traders, he sees the iPhone launch as a chance to earn extra money due to the limited availability of the new device.

In conclusion, the pre-booking of the latest iPhone 16 is a highly anticipated event for tech enthusiasts in the UAE, with users eager to secure the device before it sells out. Many individuals are taking time off from work or leaving early to be ready to click the moment bookings open at 4pm. While some are purchasing the phone for personal use, others see the launch as an opportunity to profit by reselling the phones at a higher price. For many, the iPhone launch is not only about owning the newest gadget but also a chance to make some extra money in a competitive market.
