The UAE’s young golfers are showcasing their talent at the Pan Arab Youth Golf Championships in Tunisia, with Rayan Ahmed leading the charge. The UAE Under-18 Boys’ Team has put up an impressive performance, tying for first place with Morocco after two rounds. Rayan Ahmed’s stellar performance has him tied for first in the Individual Division alongside Moroccan golfer Youssef El Hali. With Mohammed Skaik also showing strong play, the UAE team is well-positioned to compete for the championship in the final round.

The Team events at the championship involve the best two scores from each team of three players each day, with the course being played at 6,800 yards. The Boys Under-18 and Boys Under-16 Divisions are both World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) events, endorsed by The R&A. It is a prestigious competition with players from countries like Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Tunisia, and the UAE competing for top honors.

Individual performances from UAE players like Mohamed Thabet, Abdullah Darwish, and Abdullah Saleem in the Under-16 division are also noteworthy. The final round promises an exciting showdown between the UAE and Moroccan teams as they vie for team and individual honors. The young UAE golfers are determined to make a strong push for the championship title as they head into the final 18 holes.

The competition’s promising display of talent and skill is drawing attention to the championship, further highlighting the growth and development of golf in the region. With the final round set to take place soon, the stage is set for an enthralling conclusion to the Pan Arab Youth Golf Championships. The scores from the tournament reflect the competitive spirit and determination of the young golfers, showcasing their abilities on the international stage.

In the Under-18 Boys Individual Division, players like El Hali from Morocco and Ahmed from the UAE are neck-and-neck in the standings, setting the stage for an intense battle in the final round. The team event sees Morocco and the UAE tied for the lead, with Tunisia trailing closely behind. The level of competition and camaraderie displayed by the young golfers is a testament to the sport’s future in the region and beyond. The UAE’s strong showing in the championship is a glimpse into the potential of its young golfers on the international stage.
