Treasure Isle, a two-year-old colt owned by Mrs John Magnier, Michael Tabor & Derrick Smith, secured his first black type race victory at the Curragh yesterday in the QREC Irish EBF Juvenile Sprint Stakes (Listed race). Trained by Aidan O’Brien, Treasure Isle showed great speed and determination in the thrilling finish to beat out competitors such as Shamrock Breeze and Saratoga Special. The colt, sired by No Nay Never and out of Newton’s Night (Galileo), showcased his potential with a strong performance in the race.

After a solid performance in the Gr.3 Jebel Ali Racecourse & Stables Anglesey Stakes, Treasure Isle proved his versatility by excelling in the drop-in trip at the Curragh. The Ballydoyle colt was in a close second position behind Shamrock Breeze for most of the race, but showed his resilience in the final furlong to overtake Saratoga Special and claim victory by half a length. This impressive win establishes Treasure Isle as a promising young talent in the racing world, with a bright future ahead under the guidance of Aidan O’Brien.

Sired by the renowned stallion No Nay Never, Treasure Isle comes from a strong bloodline with Newton’s Night being a full sister to Gr. 3 winner Dress Rehearsal and a half sister to Listed winner Fairy Of The Night. Bred by Newstead Breeding, Treasure Isle has demonstrated his pedigree by delivering a standout performance in the QREC Irish EBF Juvenile Sprint Stakes. With a powerful combination of speed, endurance, and determination, the colt has captivated fans and experts alike with his potential to achieve even greater success in the future.

The victory at the Curragh marks a significant milestone for Treasure Isle, as he continues to make a name for himself in the competitive world of horse racing. Owned by respected figures in the industry such as Mrs John Magnier, Michael Tabor & Derrick Smith, the colt has the support and resources necessary to reach the highest levels of the sport. Under the expert guidance of trainer Aidan O’Brien, Treasure Isle has the opportunity to develop his skills and compete in prestigious races on a global scale, showcasing his talents to a wider audience of racing enthusiasts.

As Treasure Isle celebrates his success at the Curragh, the racing community eagerly anticipates his future performances and potential achievements in the coming months. With his impressive victory in the QREC Irish EBF Juvenile Sprint Stakes, the colt has proven that he has the talent and ability to excel in elite competition. As he continues to mature and develop under the guidance of Aidan O’Brien, Treasure Isle has the opportunity to establish himself as a top contender in the racing world, captivating audiences with his speed, determination, and winning spirit.
