The UAE is full of exciting activities for residents and tourists to enjoy during their weekends, and this guide highlights some of the top things to do. One of the highlights is the new dance show, BEAT BREAKER, debuting at MOTIONGATE Dubai. This high-energy performance combines bold hip-hop beats with unique choreography, including acrobatic stunts and dance moves. Guests can catch this free show from Tuesday to Sunday until September 21 at the Hollywood Theater, adding to the park’s range of entertainment offerings.

For those looking for a relaxing staycation, Jumeirah Creekside in Dubai is offering a special ‘Summer City Staycation’ package until the end of September. Guests can enjoy an additional two hours for free with their 24-hour booking, and children aged 12 and under can stay and dine for free. The package includes access to pools, a private cinema, and exclusive beach access at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray for club room or suite bookings. Guests can also enjoy discounts on spa and salon services, along with other amenities.

An iconic spot in JBR, Caña, has reopened with stunning views of Ain Dubai and Palm Jumeirah. This laid-back beach bar offers a blend of a relaxed beach vibe with Latin American flair, serving beverages against a backdrop of ocean breezes and sunsets. The bar transforms into an evening hotspot with a live DJ and beach access for Dh200 per person, redeemable on food and drinks. Guests can also explore the nearby Caribbean-inspired restaurant, Tamoka, for a complete beach-to-dining experience.

For a glamorous evening out, Raia Restaurant & Lounge at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, The Palm, Dubai, introduces the “50 Shades of Pink” Ladies’ Night every Friday. This luxury event offers a vibrant pink-themed ambiance, complimentary beverages, and a snack platter for Dh149 for ladies. Men are also welcome with a special package at Dh199, featuring unlimited drinks and selected food for two hours. It promises to be a fun-filled evening celebrating femininity and inclusivity.

Food enthusiasts can head to Time Out Market Dubai to try Fusion Ceviche, a new Peruvian eatery known for its bold flavors and exclusive dishes like Trio of Tiraditos, Salmon Chilli, and Sea Bass Pesto. Chef-owner Penelope Diaz brings authentic Peruvian cuisine to Dubai, using key ingredients imported directly from Peru. The market is a popular destination for diverse culinary experiences, making Fusion Ceviche a must-try for foodies.

Finally, those craving British classics can visit Coterie Kitchen’s new location in the Meydan area. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and great food, the restaurant offers a menu featuring comforting dishes like Fish & Chips, stone-baked Flatbreads, and Chicken Wings in various flavors. With a selection of beverages like smoothies, milkshakes, and fresh juices, Coterie Kitchen aims to be a popular spot for casual meals with friends and family. Whether it’s relaxing at a beach bar, enjoying a vibrant dance show, or indulging in delicious cuisine, the UAE offers a variety of options for a memorable weekend experience.
