Qatar’s cinemas are currently showcasing a diverse range of films, including action thrillers, psychological thrillers, crime thrillers, horror films, and fantasy comedies. One of the movies being shown is “Chief of Station”, directed by Jesse V. Johnson and featuring a star-studded cast including Aaron Eckhart, Olga Kurylenko, and Alex Pettyfer. The film tells the story of a former CIA Station Chief who returns to work after discovering that his wife’s death was premeditated, leading him to uncover shocking truths and conspiracies.

Another gripping film on display is “Trap,” a psychological thriller directed by M. Night Shyamalan and starring Josh Hartnett, Hayley Mills, and Alison Pill. The plot revolves around a serial killer and his teenage daughter who find themselves trapped by the police as they try to capture him. Additionally, “Boneyard,” a crime thriller directed by Asif Akbar and starring Mel Gibson, Curtis Jackson (50 Cent), and Brian Van Holt, follows an FBI agent and the Chief of Police as they search for a notorious serial killer known as The Bone Collector.

For fans of horror movies, “Late Night with the Devil,” directed by Cameron Cairnes and Colin Cairnes, is a must-watch. Starring David Dastmalchian, Laura Gordon, and Ian Bliss, this film depicts a late-night talk show in 1977 that takes a terrifying turn, leading to the release of evil forces among the crew and guests. On a lighter note, “Harold and the Purple Crayon,” a fantasy comedy directed by Carlos Saldanha and featuring actors such as Zachary Levi, Lil Rel Howery, Benjamin Bottani, and Zooey Deschanel, tells the tale of a young boy named Harold who embarks on magical adventures using his special purple crayon.

In addition to these new releases, cinemas in Qatar also offer screenings of previously released films like “Inside Out 2” and “Bad Boys 4.” Movie enthusiasts have a plethora of options to choose from, ranging from intense thrillers to lighthearted comedies. Whether you’re a fan of action-packed suspense or whimsical fantasy, there is something for everyone to enjoy at Qatar’s cinemas this week. So grab some popcorn and immerse yourself in the world of cinema as you explore the diverse array of films being shown in Doha.
