The winners of the Riyadh 2024 championship are crowned by the Saudi Dodgeball Federation

The Saudi Dodgeball Federation recently held the Riyadh 2024 Dodgeball Championship, which featured competitions in three categories: men, women, and under-16. A total of 25 teams, consisting of 215 players, participated in the event, with a prize pool of SR45,000 up for grabs. The winning teams in each category received cash prizes, with the first-place teams taking home SR7,000, second-place teams earning SR5,000, and third-place teams receiving SR3,000.

In the men’s competition, the Samurai team emerged victorious, securing the gold medal. The Dark team took home the silver medal, while the Shabab Club team claimed the bronze. For the women’s competition, the Doggers team clinched the gold medal, followed by the Flame team in second place and the Raging Fire team in third place. In the under-16 category, the Samurai team also took home the gold, with the Insomnia team earning silver and the Rames team winning bronze.

Abdulaziz Al-Hazani, Executive Director of the Saudi Dodgeball Federation, congratulated the winning teams and commended all participants for their efforts. He noted the growing popularity of dodgeball across the Kingdom and attributed this expansion to the Federation’s efforts to promote and develop the game. The success of the Riyadh 2024 Dodgeball Championship has paved the way for the Federation to host two additional tournaments in September, with events scheduled in Jeddah on Sep. 19 and Dammam on Sep. 26.
