President Sheikh Mohamed recently met with Dr. Badr Abdel Aati, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration of Egypt, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi. During the meeting, Dr. Abdel Aati delivered greetings and well wishes from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to Sheikh Mohamed, who reciprocated by expressing hopes for Egypt’s continued growth and development. The discussion focused on the strong relationship between the UAE and Egypt, with an emphasis on cooperation in various areas to advance mutual interests.

The two leaders also discussed regional and international issues, particularly the developments in the Middle East, including the conflict in Gaza. They stressed the urgent need to end the conflict and alleviate the humanitarian crisis by ensuring the safe delivery of essential aid to affected residents. Additionally, they highlighted the importance of international efforts to prevent further escalation and promote a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace based on the two-state solution for regional stability.

Both sides reiterated their commitment to close consultation and coordination between their nations to address challenges and crises in the region effectively. The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, emphasizing the significance of bolstering joint Arab action to tackle regional issues collectively.

Overall, the meeting between President Sheikh Mohamed and Dr. Badr Abdel Aati underscored the strong and strategic partnership between the UAE and Egypt, with a focus on advancing cooperation in various fields for mutual benefit.
