The Ministry of Defence in Oman signs MoU in academic and scientific sectors

The Academy for Strategic and Defense Studies at the Ministry of Defence in Muscat recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic Studies (NESA) of the United States of America. The MoU focuses on cooperation in academic and scientific fields, aiming to strengthen the ties between the two organizations. The signing ceremony took place during a meeting between Maj. Gen Hamid Ahmed Sakroon, Chairman of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, and Dr. Roger Kangas, Academic Dean of NESA. Brigadier Nasser Abdullah Al Qatabi, Head of the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies, signed the MoU on behalf of his organization, while Dr. Roger Kangas represented NESA.

This partnership signifies a significant step towards enhancing academic and scientific collaboration between Oman and the United States in the field of strategic and defense studies.
