The King Announces Significant Appointments in Ministries and Government Agencies

His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa made several important appointments on Wednesday across various ministries and governmental bodies in Bahrain. In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Yousef Ahmed has been appointed Ambassador, while Diana Faisal Sarhan will serve as the General Director of Resources and Information Systems at the Survey and Land Registration Bureau. Ammar Rashid Al Khashram has been appointed as the General Director of Land Registration. Engineer Aasim Abdullatif Abdullah is the new Undersecretary for Agriculture and Animal Wealth in the Ministry of Municipalities and Agriculture Affairs, and Fatima Ebrahim Khalifa Al Manai will be the Undersecretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning. Ebrahim Mohammed Abul has been named Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority.

These appointments come following recommendations from the respective Ministers and approval by the Cabinet. The individuals appointed will be responsible for leading and managing key departments within their respective ministries. The appointments have been made with the aim of enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in the functioning of the ministries and governmental bodies. The appointments have been formally published in the Official Gazette and are effective immediately.

Yousef Ahmed’s appointment as Ambassador in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs signifies the trust placed in him by the government to represent Bahrain on the international stage. His role will involve fostering diplomatic relations with other countries and promoting Bahrain’s interests globally.
