The PC space has been slow to innovate in recent years, with minimal changes in form factor and minor improvements in performance. However, the newest HUAWEI MateBook X Pro is set to shake things up in 2024. Weighing in at just 980g and 13.5mm thick, this ultra-lightweight laptop features a sleek design crafted from magnesium alloy that is both durable and stylish. The laptop comes in three colour options: Morandi Blue, Black, and White, making it aesthetically pleasing and scratch-resistant.

The MateBook X Pro boasts a 14.2-inch flexible OLED screen with 3.1K resolution, delivering pro-grade color accuracy with full Adobe RGB support. The flexible OLED display offers advantages over traditional OLED screens, eliminating distractions and reducing the laptop’s weight by around 150g. The X-True display technology provides lifelike colors with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time, making it ideal for creatives such as photographers and graphic artists.

Powered by a high-performance Intel Core™ Ultra 9 processor, the MateBook X Pro offers mind-blowing power in an ultra-lightweight body. The advanced Intel 4 technology ensures higher performance and lower power consumption, allowing for AI-powered features without compromising performance or battery life. The laptop also features Intel AI Boost and an improved Arc™ Graphics system, doubling graphics processing performance compared to the previous generation.

With 90W SuperCharge Turbo mode, the MateBook X Pro can provide two hours of work after just 10 minutes of charging. The laptop also features a 70Wh battery capacity and is compatible with smartphone chargers or power banks for added convenience. Additionally, the MateBook X Pro utilizes 3D Metaline Antenna technology for fast and stable Wi-Fi connections, reaching up to 330 meters in ideal conditions.

The HUAWEI MateBook X Pro is now available for pre-orders in the UAE starting at Dh6999 AED, including a complimentary HUAWEI WatchBuds worth Dh1799. Customers can also pre-order the HUAWEI MateBook 14, which features a flagship-level 2.8K OLED touchscreen, fashionable design, and powerful performance. The MateBook 14 is equipped with a 1st Gen Intel® Core™ Ultra processor and a dual Shark fin fan system for efficient heat dissipation, providing up to 19 hours of video playback on a full charge. Pre-orders for the MateBook 14 start at Dh3799 with a gift of Matepad 11.5 (6+128 LTE) worth Dh1,199.0. The HUAWEI MateBook X Pro and MateBook 14 offer an enticing combination of portability and capability, making them ideal choices for users looking to upgrade their laptops in 2024.
