The Ministry of Culture in Doha is set to kick off the first-ever ‘Doha Photography Festival’ as part of its cultural season activities. Taking place on the opposite side of Darb Al Saai in Umm Salal, the festival is set to run from today through November 13. The event will showcase the works of eight international companies specializing in photography cameras, as well as individual and collective exhibitions, old photos, ‘antique’ cameras, and a designated area for film photos.

In addition to the exhibitions, the festival will feature a main theatre where lectures and seminars by international photographers will be presented.
