The Crown Prince of Kuwait welcomes Sayyid Badr

Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, recently met with Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman, who was on an official visit to Kuwait. During the meeting, the Foreign Minister conveyed greetings and best wishes from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait. He also expressed His Majesty’s hopes for continuous growth and prosperity for the Kuwaiti people, as well as further progress in the relations between the two countries.

In response, the Kuwaiti Crown Prince conveyed greetings and best wishes from the Emir of Kuwait to His Majesty the Sultan, as well as the Emir’s best wishes for the Omani people and the progression of relations between the two nations. The meeting focused on discussing the bilateral cooperation between Kuwait and Oman, as well as exploring ways to enhance this cooperation in order to serve the joint interests of both countries. They emphasized the importance of continuously expanding prospects of cooperation to meet the aspirations of the people of both nations.

Furthermore, the two sides exchanged viewpoints on various regional and international issues of common concern. They highlighted their shared vision on the necessity of enhancing regional and international cooperation to strengthen security and peace in the region. Additionally, they emphasized the importance of Arab solidarity in addressing regional issues, particularly the Palestinian cause. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Hashil Al Maskari, Head of the GCC and Regional Neighbourliness Department, Dr. Saleh Amer Al Kharousi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Kuwait, and officials from both countries.

Overall, the meeting between the Crown Prince of Kuwait and the Foreign Minister of Oman emphasized the strong ties between the two countries and their commitment to enhancing cooperation for the mutual benefit of their peoples. Their discussions on regional and international issues underscored the importance of collaboration in promoting security and peace in the region. Both sides reiterated their support for Arab solidarity in addressing key regional issues, particularly the Palestinian cause. The meeting served as a platform to further strengthen the longstanding and friendly relations between Kuwait and Oman.
