The Al Shaqab Showjumping League in Doha, Qatar is set to kick off at the Longines Indoor Arena, where riders of all ages will compete for top honors in the thrilling world of show jumping. This event promises to be a dazzling display of equestrian talent, showcasing the exceptional skills of the riders in the league. Emphasizing the importance of providing a distinguished platform for riders, this championship also aims to offer opportunities to young riders, female participants, juniors, future champions, and all equestrian enthusiasts. Registration for the competition is open to all members of the Al Shaqab Equestrian Education Academy and riders from all clubs, ensuring an inclusive and competitive atmosphere for all participants.

In the earlier leagues, the FEI Group 7 qualifying class saw all riders qualify for the FEI Group 7 final, demonstrating the high level of competition and talent present in the Al Shaqab League. This league is dedicated to providing riders at Al Shaqab with opportunities to qualify for prestigious events such as the FEI Group 7 final, the Youth Olympic Games, and FEI international events. One notable achievement from the Al Shaqab community is Saad Al Saad, who is the sole rider to have qualified for the Youth Olympics, highlighting the caliber of talent nurtured within the Al Shaqab community. This league not only serves as a platform for riders to showcase their skills, but also as a stepping stone towards international recognition and success in the equestrian world.

The main classes of the Al Shaqab League include Future Champions for riders aged 14 and below, with a jump height of 90cm, and Junior Champions for riders aged 18 and below, with a jump height of 100cm. These classes provide a platform for young riders to develop their skills, gain valuable experience, and showcase their potential as future champions in the sport of show jumping. By offering competitive opportunities for riders of all ages and experience levels, the Al Shaqab League aims to foster a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and camaraderie within the equestrian community in Qatar.

Riders participating in the Al Shaqab Showjumping League will have the chance to compete against their peers, challenge themselves, and strive for excellence in a competitive and supportive environment. This two-day event will test the riders’ skills, determination, and teamwork as they navigate challenging courses and obstacles in pursuit of victory.
