After an illustrious 25-year stint as the beloved Times of Oman School Quiz event, the competition is undergoing a revolutionary transformation. Embracing the digital age, the new avatar will be the T Quiz League. It promises whole new quizzing experience for participants and audiences alike.

In a move aimed at making the quiz more accessible and engaging to audiences all over the world, the Times of Oman team will present the T Quiz League as a fast-paced digital TV show.

The venue for this year’s edition is the magnificent theatre at Downe House Muscat.

Scheduled to kick off on May 26th, the T Quiz League 2024 has already garnered immense anticipation, with teams from renowned educational institutions throwing their hats into the ring. Among the formidable contenders are Lycée Français International De Mascate, Indian School Wadi Kabir, British School Muscat, Indian School Ghubra, Indian School Darsait and of course the hosts, Downe House Muscat, each vying for supremacy in the ultimate battle of brains.

The quiz is open to students from Grade 5 to 8. Topics are general and will include Math, Science, Geography, English, Pop Culture, Sports, Literature and Oman. The quiz will be conducted in English.

The deadline for registration has been extended to May 8th, 2024 to accommodate requests from schools currently in the midst of internal selections.

Partnering the quiz to empower young minds are MHD with the INEOS Grenadier, The New India Assurance Company Oman, Oasis Water and Muscat Pharmacy. The event is managed by Manzana Events.

So, mark your calendars, rally your squad, and prepare to be dazzled as the T Quiz League attempts to strengthen the legacy of quizzing in Oman.
