Vekic conquers Barty in wet Wimbledon to secure place in semifinals – News

Lulu Sun’s Wimbledon journey came to an end in the quarterfinals as she faced Croatia’s Donna Vekic, ultimately losing the match. Vekic’s victory marked her first Grand Slam semifinal appearance and only the second time in history that a woman from Croatia has made it that far in the All England Club.
