Umm Salal manage to survive a scare from Al Bidda; Qatar SC advance to the quarter-finals

Umm Salal and Qatar SC both secured their spots in the quarter-finals of the Amir Cup with hard-fought victories. Umm Salal overcame an early setback to defeat Al Bidda 3-1 in extra time, while Qatar SC sealed a 2-0 win against Al Waab. Debutants Al Bidda took the lead through Yousef Ahmed’s early goal, but Oussama Tannane equalized for Umm Salal with a free kick. Despite Al Bidda’s efforts, Umm Salal took control in extra time with goals from Lucas Joao and Kenji Gorre. Qatar SC also claimed a win, with Bruno Tabata and Ali Awaad finding the net against Al Waab.

As Umm Salal and Qatar SC advance to the quarter-finals, Al Gharafa and Al Ahli prepare to face off for a spot in the next round.
