The tournament will feature top players such as Arturo Coello, Ariana Sanchez Fallada, Juan Lebron, and Alejandro Galan, competing for a total prize pool of €470,000 euros.

The launch of Dubai Premier Padel P1 has been made possible through a collaboration between the UAE Padel Association, the Department of Economy and Tourism, Dubai Sports Council, Premier Padel, and Gallop Global. Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, President of the UAEPA, expressed his excitement about the event and highlighted its importance in promoting the growth of padel in the region. The International Padel Federation estimates that 25 million people play padel worldwide, and the UAE is home to over 320 padel facilities and 950 courts, with a significant fan following and social media presence.

Ivan Modia, the Tournament Director of Dubai Premier Padel P1, emphasized that the event is not just a one-time tournament but a year-round project aimed at establishing a lasting legacy for the sport and the city. The organizers have ambitious plans to promote padel in schools, provide pathways for amateurs to turn professional, and work closely with the UAEPA to grow the sport locally and nationally. With top players set to compete and a significant prize pool at stake, the Dubai Premier Padel P1 tournament promises to be a thrilling and impactful event for the sport.
