The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and ASICS have signed a sports partnership that will provide Team Qatar athletes and staff with apparel for competitions and training sessions starting from the Paris Olympic Games 2024 through 2027. The agreement, signed by Sheikha Asmaa Thani Al-thani of QOC and Mr. Seiji Hori of ASICS, will feature ASICS apparel designed for conditioning and sustainability. The Podium Jacket, equipped with ACTIBREEZE™ technology, will provide effective ventilation, while the collection will also use recycled materials to promote environmental awareness.

ASICS will continue to support local events in Qatar to encourage future generations to lead active lifestyles for overall wellbeing. The partnership agreement aims to emphasize Qatar’s contributions to the Olympic Games and establish the nation as a leader in organizing international sporting events. Sheikha Asma Al Thani of QOC expressed her excitement for the partnership, stating that it opens up new horizons of excellence and inspiration for future generations. ASICS Middle East General Manager, Mr. Seiji Hori, highlighted the brand’s belief in the power of sports to inspire and nurture both the body and mind.

By partnering with Team Qatar on their Olympic journey, ASICS aims to showcase the transformative power of sport at the Paris Olympics 2024. The collaboration between QOC and ASICS signifies a commitment to excellence, sustainability, and inspiring future generations to lead active lifestyles. The ASICS apparel, featuring innovative technology and recycled materials, will provide Team Qatar with the tools they need to excel in competitions and training sessions. This partnership represents a significant step towards promoting sports and movement as a means to uplift and empower individuals, both physically and mentally.

The QOC and ASICS partnership will not only benefit Team Qatar athletes and staff, but also the local community in Qatar through the development of events that promote a healthy and active lifestyle. The agreement reinforces Qatar’s dedication to sports and international sporting events, while also aligning with ASICS’ mission to inspire people through the transformative power of sports. With a focus on sustainability and performance, the collaboration between QOC and ASICS is set to make a positive impact on the Olympic journey of Team Qatar and inspire future generations to pursue excellence through sports and movement.

As Team Qatar prepares to represent the nation at the Paris Olympics 2024, they will do so in ASICS apparel designed to enhance performance and promote sustainability. The partnership between QOC and ASICS will not only showcase the iconic maroon colors of the Qatari flag but also highlight the commitment to excellence and innovation. By choosing ASICS as their official apparel provider, Team Qatar is demonstrating their dedication to success and their belief in the power of sports to inspire and empower individuals.
