Mayorov and Franklin secure victories in Round 4 of FIM MiniGP

Petr Mayorov and Jake Franklin emerged as the winners in the fourth round of the 2024 FIM MiniGP Qatar event held at the Lusail track. Mayorov dominated Race 1, finishing with a total time of 13:56.837 and a best lap time of 55.197 seconds. Ivan Maiorov came in a close second, just 0.233 seconds behind Mayorov, while Franklin secured the third spot, finishing 11.088 seconds behind the leader.

In Race 2, Franklin claimed victory in the Mini GP 160 class with a total time of 14:08.113 and a best lap time of 55.430 seconds, strengthening his position in the championship race. Makar Novichkov finished in second place with a time of 14:08.271, followed by Marton Belleli in third place with a time of 14:10.513. Belleli’s podium finish extended his lead in the Championship standings, with Franklin closely behind in second place and Riley Robinson in third place.

As the competition heads into the final round, Belleli maintains his lead in the overall championship standings with 125 points, followed closely by Franklin with 115 points and Robinson in third place with 103 points. With the title still up for grabs, the intensity of the races is expected to reach new heights in the upcoming round.

Mayorov’s impressive performance in Race 1 and Franklin’s victory in Race 2 showcase the high level of competition in the 2024 FIM MiniGP Qatar series. The tight racing between the top riders highlights the skill and determination of each competitor as they battle for the championship title.

The Lusail track provided the perfect setting for thrilling racing action, with each rider pushing themselves to the limit in pursuit of victory. The close finishes and intense battles on track kept fans on the edge of their seats, making for an exciting weekend of racing in Qatar.

With one more round to go, the pressure is mounting on the riders as they gear up for the final showdown. The battle for the championship title is sure to be fierce, with every point crucial in determining the ultimate winner of the 2024 FIM MiniGP Qatar series. Fans can expect more thrilling racing action as the top riders go head-to-head in a last-ditch effort to clinch the title.
