Danish Formula One driver Kevin Magnussen will be leaving Haas at the end of the current season, after representing the team in 135 Grand Prix across seven seasons. Magnussen’s departure was announced ahead of the Hungarian Grand Prix, with Haas confirming that he will be leaving his race seat at the end of his current contract in December 2024. The 31-year-old driver expressed his gratitude towards the team and team founder Gene Haas for their support throughout his time with the team, stating that he has enjoyed some great moments and will never forget the memories made.

During his time with Haas, Magnussen achieved his best results with two fifth-place finishes in Bahrain and Austria in the 2018 season, where he also finished ninth in the overall driver standings. His departure comes after the exit of his German teammate Nico Hulkenberg, which means Haas will have a completely new line-up for the upcoming season. The American team has already announced the signing of 19-year-old British driver Oliver Bearman and is expected to fill the second seat with French Alpine driver Esteban Ocon.

Magnussen’s departure marks the end of an era for him with Haas, where he has been a part of the team since the 2017 season. His decision to leave the team at the end of his current contract reflects a new chapter in his Formula One career, with potential opportunities awaiting him for the future. As he prepares to say goodbye to Haas, Magnussen will be looking back on the memories and experiences he has shared with the team over the years, while also looking forward to new challenges and endeavors in the world of motorsport.

The Danish driver’s departure from Haas has sparked speculation about his next move in Formula One, with fans and experts eager to see where he will end up next. As Magnussen prepares to leave the team at the end of the current season, his future in the sport remains uncertain but full of possibilities. With his experience and skills on the track, Magnussen is likely to attract interest from other teams looking to strengthen their line-up for the upcoming seasons, making him a valuable asset in the competitive world of Formula One.

Overall, Kevin Magnussen’s departure from Haas marks the end of a chapter in his career with the American team, as he bids farewell to the team and looks ahead to new opportunities in Formula One. With a successful tenure at Haas and memorable moments shared with the team, Magnussen leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered by fans and the motorsport community. As he embarks on a new journey in the world of Formula One, Magnussen’s departure signifies a new beginning and the start of a new chapter in his racing career.
