Jordan will host Iraq on Tuesday at 9:15 PM at Amman International Stadium in the final round of Group B matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers.
Jordan come to the game full of confidence after a commanding 3-0 win over Oman in the previous round, which secured their first-ever direct qualification to the World Cup. Iraq, meanwhile, will be looking to finish strong after a 0-2 loss to group leaders South Korea. Despite the defeat, Iraq’s results in other matches guaranteed their progression to the next qualifying stage, keeping their World Cup hopes alive.

A Historic Milestone
This qualification marks a significant milestone for Jordan, as it will be their debut appearance at the World Cup finals.
Nashat Al-Khaldi, Communications and Events Manager at TOD, commented:
“It’s inspiring to see more Arab teams qualify for the World Cup. At TOD, we are proud to be the official streaming platform capturing these historic moments that inspire generations. This reflects real progress in football across the region and gives Arab fans a lot to be proud of.”
With Jordan’s historic qualification secured, all eyes now turn to the remaining contenders in Group B, where the race for the second qualifying spot remains wide open.

Qualification Race Still On
The fight for the second qualification spot remains intense between Oman and Palestine, who face off in a decisive match. Oman leads with 10 points, while Palestine trails with 9. The winner will join Iraq in advancing to the next round, keeping their World Cup dreams alive.

Kuwait to End the Qualifiers with a Strong Performance
In another Group B match, South Korea, topping the group with 19 points, will host Kuwait at Seoul World Cup Stadium. Although Kuwait’s hopes of qualifying have ended, they are determined to finish their campaign on a strong note against a tough opponent.
The Jordan V Iraq match, along with the other group matches, will be live on TOD, giving viewers across the MENA region access to follow the Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
