Guido Migliozzi recently won his fourth DP World Tour title at the KLM Open in the Netherlands in dramatic fashion. The Italian golfer entered the final day one shot off the lead but managed to take the top spot with a series of birdies. However, a pair of bogeys left him two shots behind before he birdied the 16th and 18th holes to secure a spot in a three-man playoff. Ultimately, Migliozzi came out on top with a birdie on the 18th, securing the victory.
Migliozzi’s win at the KLM Open also earned him a spot at The Open Championship next month. His coach Peter Cowen expressed his pride in Migliozzi’s achievement, noting that he had been impressed with the golfer’s skills for some time. In addition to The Open Championship, Migliozzi will also represent Italy in the Men’s Golf Competition at the Olympics in France alongside Matteo Manassero.
Migliozzi’s victory at the KLM Open adds to his previous successes on the DP World Tour, including two wins in his debut season five years ago and a victory at the Open de France in 2022.
