Reigning champions Al Sadd are determined to make a strong comeback in the Ooredoo Stars League after a surprising defeat to Al Shamal in their first match of the season. The Felix Sanchez-coached team will face Qatar SC in their upcoming match at the Khalifa International Stadium. Al Duhail and Al Rayyan currently hold the top two positions in the league after impressive starts in the opening week. The defeat to Al Shamal was a setback for Al Sadd, but goalkeeper Meshaal Barsham emphasized the importance of focus in achieving the team’s goals for the season.

Despite the loss, Barsham remains optimistic about Al Sadd’s prospects and believes that the team will learn from their mistakes and improve their performance in the upcoming matches. The players are determined to bounce back and show their true potential on the field. Fans can expect an exciting battle between Al Duhail and Al Rayyan in the upcoming round, with both teams eager to continue their winning streaks. Al Duhail began the season with a dominant 6-1 victory over Qatar SC, while Al Rayyan showcased their strength with a 3-1 win over Umm Salal.

The second round of the league will also feature a compelling match between Al Arabi and Al Wakrah, as both teams aim for their first victory of the season. Al Arabi played a goalless draw against Al Shahania in their opening game, while Al Wakrah settled for a 2-2 draw with Al Ahli after conceding a late goal. With both teams hungry for a win, the match at Al Thumama Stadium promises to be an intense and competitive encounter. Meanwhile, Al Shamal will be looking to continue their winning momentum when they face Umm Salal at Al Janoub Stadium in tomorrow’s fixture.

As the Ooredoo Stars League progresses, the competition is heating up with each team vying for the top spot. The upcoming matches will be crucial for Al Sadd as they strive to reclaim their championship form and make their mark in the league. With a focus on hard work and determination, the players are ready to showcase their skills and prove themselves on the field. Fans can expect an exhilarating season ahead filled with thrilling matches and intense rivalries as the teams battle it out for supremacy in the Ooredoo Stars League.
