Al Kholood fans were delighted as the club’s management finalized three foreign signings just in time for the team’s first match in the Saudi Pro League against Al Ittihad. The club announced the acquisitions of Slovakian defender Norbert Gyömbér, Spanish winger Álex Collado, and Comorian striker Myziane Maolida. These new additions will join Brazilian goalkeeper Marcelo Grohe, bringing the foreign player count to four, with more signings expected before the summer transfer window closes.

Norbert Gyömbér, aged 32, brings a wealth of experience to the team with a diverse career in Italy, playing for clubs such as Catania, Roma, Pescara, Bari, and Perugia. He also represented Slovakia in the recent UEFA European Championship, showcasing his talent on the international stage. Spanish winger Álex Collado, who played for Al Okhdood last season, impressed fans with his performances, contributing to seven goals through both assists and scoring.

Myziane Maolida, known as one of the top forwards for Comoros, has scored three goals in four World Cup qualifying matches, demonstrating his scoring prowess. Last season, he played in the Scottish Premiership with Hibernian, where he scored ten goals and provided two assists in 18 league appearances. With these new signings, Al Kholood has significantly strengthened their squad and is eagerly looking forward to completing further transfers before the deadline.

The arrival of Norbert Gyömbér, Álex Collado, and Myziane Maolida has boosted the team’s morale and raised hopes for a successful season in the Saudi Pro League. Fans are excited to see how these new signings will integrate into the squad and contribute to the team’s performances on the field. With Marcelo Grohe already in the mix as the team’s foreign goalkeeper, Al Kholood now boasts a strong foreign contingent that will add depth and quality to the squad.

The management at Al Kholood have been proactive in their recruitment efforts, identifying key areas for improvement and swiftly securing the services of talented players to address those needs. The signings of Gyömbér, Collado, and Maolida demonstrate the club’s ambition to compete at the highest level and challenge for honors in the Saudi Pro League. With more signings expected before the summer transfer window closes, the team is determined to build a competitive squad capable of achieving success in the upcoming season.

As the team prepares for their first match against Al Ittihad, the new signings will be eager to make an impact and showcase their skills to the fans. The addition of experienced players like Gyömbér, talented youngsters like Collado, and proven goal scorers like Maolida bodes well for Al Kholood’s prospects in the Saudi Pro League. With a renewed sense of optimism and excitement surrounding the club, supporters are looking forward to an exciting and successful season ahead.
