The Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth in Doha recently announced the launch of a guide for granting licenses and permits to practice youth activities in the youth sector. This guide serves as a reference document that regulates the youth services provided by the ministry to private, for-profit entities. It specifies the types of services available, their conditions, and the necessary preparations and procedures required. This initiative is part of a strategic project titled “updating youth legislation,” which aims to develop methods and procedures for governing the issuance of licenses and approvals necessary for practicing youth activities and professions.

The Director of the Youth Affairs Department, Fawaz Al Musaifiri, highlighted the department’s responsibilities, which include establishing youth centers, committees, and associations. These initiatives are in line with the ministry’s goal of developing the sports and youth sectors and raising them to professionalism and integration. Additionally, the Head of Youth Work Organization and Development Section at the Ministry of Sports and Youth, Nasser Al Jabri, emphasized the importance of the newly launched guide. He stated that all efforts are focused on organizing youth work in the country, both in governmental and non-governmental aspects.

Al Jabri encouraged young individuals who wish to provide special services in the youth sector to review the guide, apply for the necessary permits, and support the state’s efforts to advance the youth sector to regional and international ranks. The guide aims to streamline the process of obtaining licenses and permits for youth activities, ensuring that all services provided are of the highest quality. By following this guide, individuals and organizations can contribute to the development and enhancement of youth services in Qatar, benefiting members of society of all ages and genders.

The Youth Affairs Department’s strategic project of updating youth legislation reflects a commitment to continuous improvement and development within the youth sector. By establishing clear guidelines and regulations for licensing and permits, the department aims to enhance the quality of youth services and ensure that they meet the needs of Qatari society. This initiative signifies a proactive approach towards governing and monitoring youth activities, with a focus on achieving qualitative development and professionalism in the sector.

The guide for granting licenses and permits for youth activities in Qatar is a step towards promoting innovation and excellence in the youth sector. By specifying the types of services available, their conditions, and the necessary procedures, the guide provides clarity and structure for individuals and organizations seeking to engage in youth work. It also highlights the ministry’s commitment to supporting and regulating youth-related initiatives, both within government entities and in the private sector. Through this guide, young people are encouraged to take advantage of the resources and opportunities available to them in Qatar’s growing youth sector.

Overall, the launch of the guide for granting licenses and permits for youth activities in Qatar represents a significant milestone in the ongoing efforts to enhance youth services in the country. By providing a comprehensive framework for licensing and regulating youth activities, the guide sets a standard for professionalism and quality in the sector. Through collaboration and compliance with these guidelines, individuals and organizations can contribute to the advancement of the youth sector in Qatar and play a role in its continued growth and development.
