Social Development and Family Ministry partners with Seashore Group to support family care and community development projects

The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MoSDF) in Qatar recently signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Seashore Group in an effort to enhance cooperation in the social development sector. The agreement, which was attended by Minister of Social Development and Family H E Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad, will see the Group providing financial support and care to implement the Ministry’s projects and initiatives related to family care. This partnership aims to empower productive families in the field of entrepreneurship, contributing to the overall development of society and aligning with the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

The memorandum was signed by Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development Affairs at MoSDF Fahd Muhammad Al Khayarin and Saqr Saeed Al Muhannadi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Seashore Group. The signing ceremony also included representatives of both parties and the CEO of the Seashore Group, showcasing the commitment to collaboration between the Ministry and the Group. The agreement focuses on providing support and care for family and community development projects, emphasizing the importance of joint efforts between effective institutions in implementing national strategies and plans related to family care.

With the goal of achieving comprehensive development and supporting humanitarian and volunteer activities, the memorandum aims to strengthen the partnership between the Ministry and the Seashore Group. Through the support of family development initiatives, community projects, awareness campaigns, and joint initiatives, both parties seek to enhance cooperation and benefit from each other’s expertise and resources. The agreement also includes support for the incentive award for owners of productive projects (Al Watan), promoting small business growth and fostering fair competition among entrepreneurs in Qatar.

Saqr Saeed Al Muhannadi, Vice Chairman of the Seashore Group, highlighted the importance of this community partnership and the Group’s dedication to supporting families in Qatar through various educational and cultural programs. He emphasized the significance of utilizing the Ministry’s expertise to innovate new strategies that advance family care in the country. The Seashore Group’s commitment to social responsibility and community engagement is further demonstrated through its ongoing initiatives and activities aimed at supporting Qatari families.

In alignment with Qatar’s rapid development, Seashore Group remains dedicated to joining the economic sector and the state in achieving sustainability principles. The establishment of the Ataa Association, a cultural and social initiative by the Group, reflects its commitment to fostering social development in the country. Through the memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of Social Development and Family, Seashore Group reaffirms its dedication to providing support to the community and contributing to the welfare of Qatari families through various joint initiatives and activities.

In conclusion, the partnership between the Ministry of Social Development and Family and the Seashore Group signifies a significant step towards enhancing social development in Qatar. By leveraging each other’s expertise and resources, both parties aim to support family care, community development projects, and entrepreneurship initiatives.
