Sheng Lihao, a talented young Chinese shooter, clinched his second gold medal at the Paris Olympics by winning the men’s 10-metre air rifle event. Sheng set an Olympic record aggregate score of 252.2, beating out Sweden’s Victor Lindgren, who took the silver with a score of 251.4. Miran Maricic of Croatia secured the bronze in the event. Sheng had previously won the mixed team gold with his teammate on Saturday, showcasing his skills in shooting at the highest level.

In the women’s competition, South Korea’s Ban Hyo-jin emerged victorious in the air rifle event, narrowly edging out China’s Huang Yuting.
