Sergio Conceicao, the former coach of Porto, has been appointed as the new head coach of AC Milan. He will be leading the team until June 30, 2026, taking over from Portuguese coach Paulo Fonseca. The decision was announced by the Serie A side on their official website, with Conceicao set to make his debut in the Italian Super Cup 2025 clash against Juventus in Saudi Arabia.

AC Milan made the decision to replace Fonseca due to the team’s inconsistent performance, which has left them in eighth place on the league table. They are currently 14 points behind league leaders Atalanta and eight points away from the top four, with a game in hand. Conceicao will now be tasked with turning the team’s fortunes around and guiding them to a better position in the league.

The Portuguese coach has a successful track record, having previously managed Porto and achieved great success with the team. He will bring his experience and expertise to AC Milan as they aim to improve their performance and climb up the Serie A table. With Conceicao at the helm, the team will be looking to secure victories and make a strong comeback in the league.

Conceicao’s first challenge as AC Milan’s head coach will be the Italian Super Cup 2025 clash against Juventus. The high-profile match will be held in Saudi Arabia, providing Conceicao with an opportunity to showcase his coaching skills and lead the team to victory. The fans will be eagerly watching to see how Conceicao’s tactics and strategies will impact the team’s performance on the field.

As the new boss, Conceicao will have the support of the fans and the club as he works towards achieving success with AC Milan. His leadership and coaching abilities will be crucial in shaping the team’s future and guiding them to greater heights in the Serie A. With his appointment, AC Milan will be looking to build on their legacy as a successful and competitive football club in Italy and Europe.

Overall, the appointment of Sergio Conceicao as the new head coach of AC Milan marks a new chapter for the team. With his experience, expertise, and winning mentality, Conceicao is poised to make a positive impact and lead the team to success on the field. The fans are hopeful that under Conceicao’s guidance, AC Milan will be able to achieve their goals and compete at the highest level in Italian football.
